They say the world is shrinking and I can only nod my head in agreement. A couple of months ago a young man sent an email: Did I have any interest in publishing a photo book about tattoo models? Originally published in Eastern Europe, he was looking to publish the book in the US.

I answered him right away – yes, I would welcome a chance to look at a low-res example of his book. And in a couple of days, there it was in my in-box.

Photos of hot tattoo models is what I found in my in-box recently.

I really didn’t know what to expect. Poor photos of skanky models? Tattoo-girls doing porno? Could it possibly be tasteful images of attractive models, including an interview with each one? Luckily, it turned out to be door number three. The photos are well composed and well lit. The files are high resolution. All the models are smoking’ hot. There’s even a very cool layout design that we may or may not be able to use later. The next step for us is to contact all the models and photographers and get a release from each one, then make firm plans to publish the book in the fall of 2012.

An appropriately named model, Bombshell McGee, is another of the mostly US models to appear in an Eastern European book, that will now be published in the US.

There’s even an opportunity to share these images with another publisher from Australia, who has this distributor in the UK…….

Like I said, smaller and smaller.

And to think that initially I doubted the quality of both the models and the photographs.
