Brought to you by Chris Callen, of Cycle Source Magazine fame, and Wolfgang Publications, this new book is the basic bible that at-home builders need to build and modify their own motorcycle. First comes the chapter on Setting up your Shop. Once you have a place to work, Chris walks you through: Welding, Fabricating Mounts, Assembling the Roller, Working with Leather, and Wiring.
Near the end of the book comes the best part: three, start-to-finish assembly chapters. All the builds are grass roots, old-skool bikes assembled on a tight budget. The sequence takes the reader through everything including the initial planning, the mock-up, painting, final assembly and first road test.
This new book is 144 pages of hard-core, how-to-build information illustrated with over 400 photos and a few kick ass illustrations.
